In order to ensure timely delivery, BabyDirect.Com has various warehouse located across the United States so your items may ship from multiple locations.
BabyDirect.Com uses a combination of FedEx, UPS, United States Postal Service and other various freight carriers to deliver your purchases. BabyDirect.Com ships packages Monday through Friday, excluding holidays.
FedEx Ground delivers Tuesday through Saturday. FedEx Express delivers Monday through Friday. UPS Ground and Express delivers Monday through Friday. USPS delivers Monday through Saturday. Freight carriers will contact the provided telephone number to schedule delivery. Packages with air delivery methods such as 3 Day Air, 2 Day Air or Next Day delivery will be delivered Monday through Friday. Unfortunately, BabyDirect.Com does not currently offer weekend delivery services. To estimate the air delivery timeframe for your package, be sure to calculate in the processing time located on the product page.
To estimate the length of time it will take to deliver your order, add the processing timeframe to the general delivery timeframe of 6 business days. If multiple items are ordered, they may ship from different locations and may arrive at different times.
The delivery timeframe for your order will be based on the shipping method you chose during the checkout process. Remember to add the processing timeframe (processing timeframe differs for each manufacturer and is located on the product page) to the delivery method you chose to estimate the delivery time.
All shipping timeframes are quoted in business days.
Ground Shipping via FedEx, UPS and may include delivery via Priority Mail or US Postal Service. Orders placed with the Ground Shipping Options are not guaranteed to be delivered within a certain timeframe. It may take 1 to 2 weeks to arrive plus the processing timeframe quoted on the product page.
3 Day Air should arrive within 3 business days plus the processing timeframe quoted on the product page.
2nd Day Air should arrive within 2 business days plus the processing timeframe quoted on the product page.
Next Day Air should arrive on the next day plus the processing timeframe quoted on the product page.
Important Note: Any air delivery shipping method chosen must be placed before noon to be processed the same day.
Shipping Delays
BabyDirect.Com will make every effort to fill all orders placed, however delays and backorders may occur. If a delay or a backorder does occur you will receive prompt notification via email.
If you do not wish to wait due to the delay or backorder, you may request a cancellation for your order, provided that the item has not been shipped. If we do not hear from you before we ship the items, we will assume you have agreed to the shipment delay and will ship your order accordingly.
International Shipping
Unfortunately, BabyDirect.com does not currently offer shipping to Hawaii, Alaska, U.S. Territories, Canada, Military Army Posts and other International areas. BabyDirect.Com is currently negotiating competitive shipping rates to assist our International customers.
Shipping Surcharges
Certain items are larger, oversized, heavier and costly to ship than other items. Any shipping surcharges that will be assessed to ship your item will be listed in on the product page. This shipping surcharge will be automatically added to our standard flat rate shipping charge upon checkout. The shipping surcharge DOES NOT include any set-up of the item, unpacking or removal of packaging.
Shipping Errors - Refusal of Delivery
If a package is refused upon delivery, the customer will be responsible for any and all actual shipping charges incurred. (BabyDirect.Com currently offers a flat rate shipping charge which is much lower than the actual shipping charge.
BabyDirect.com covers the actual shipping charge to assist customers). Once the package is received back in our warehouse, BabyDirect.Com will issue a credit back to the original payment method for the purchase price less the actual shipping cost and any surcharges of shipping your package to you. Any actual shipping charges and/or any shipping surcharges will apply even if you were not originally charged shipping as part of a promotion. BabyDirect.Com needs to enforce this policy to defray all unnecessary shipping costs. This allows BabyDirect.Com to offer the most competitive and lowest prices for our customers. This policy does not apply to products that were damaged in shipping.
