Fun Myths on Predicting a Baby's Gender
Are you eager to know if you're having a boy or girl? Well, why not have some fun with your friends and try one of these Baby Gender Prediction tests. You have a 50/50 chance that it will be right! Below are some fun myths about ways to figure out if you're going to have a Sammy or a Sally. Remember, these are for fun not fact.
- Myth #1: The Belly Test - Check to see if you're carrying the baby high or low. If your belly is up high, then a girl's on the way. If your belly is drooping low then you might be having a boy.
- Myth #2: Urine and Drano Test - Pee in a cup and mix your urine with a table spoon of Drano. If the liquid turns green it's a girl. If it turns blue it's a boy. Consider having your husband or a friend do the mixing so you're not around those fumes while you're pregnant.
- Myth #3: Fast or Slow Heartbeat - At your next doctor's appointment record your baby's heart beat. If it's over 140, it's a girl. If it's under 140, it's a boy.
- Myth #4: Sweet or Sour Cravings - Most pregnant women have cravings for certain foods. If you tend to crave sweets then a girl's on the way. If you're craving sour foods then a boy is in your belly.
- Myth #5: Round Cheeks - If you have that extra glow and your cheeks get more rounded and pink then you're having a girl. If you look the same as always then it's a boy.
- Myth #6: Pendant Swing - Put your wedding ring on a string. Hold the string over your belly with your wedding ring dangling on the bottom. If the ring moves back and forth it's a boy. If the ring goes in circles it's a girl.
- Myth #7: Pimple Proof - If you breakout with acne during your pregnancy then a girl is on the way. If you don't have acne or no more then before pregnancy then you're having a boy.
- Myth #8: Prettier or Uglier - If you look prettier during pregnancy then it's a girl in your belly. If you look uglier then it's a boy. Theory is that the mix of male hormones with mom's hormones makes mom less attractive.
- Myth #9: Change of Face - If your face changes at all during pregnancy, nose widens, cheeks get puffy etc.. then it's girl. If your face doesn't change it's a boy.
- Myth #10: Morning Sickness Levels - If you're really sick then it's a girl. If you're not too sick it's a boy.
