Available in four different finishes, the Argington Ayres Guard Rails offer mix and match versatility. For use with the Ayres Twin Bed, the rails help prevent accidental spillovers while your tot is getting used to their new big-kid bed. Metal-to-metal connectors allow you to easily attach and remove the rails as many times as you'd like. And, the connection is located on the inner rail of the bed frame so it's hidden from view. Like all Argington furniture, the rails are solidly constructed of a sustainable mixture of birch and birch ply with a nontoxic finish in ebony.
- Optional removable Guard Rails are available. These feature metal to metal connectors so they may be attached and reattached as many times as need be. Connection is located on inner rail of the Bed frame and remains hidden from view at all times. The Guard Rails are sold separately.
- Twin Bed, Trundle Bed, and Guard Rails are offered in four finishes: walnut, red maple, birch, and white.
- Mattress supports are ventilated for foam mattresses and accept all standard Twin size mattresses (39öx 75ö) Recommended mattress thickness is 7ö to 10ö. Exterior dimensions are 82ö long x 46.5ö wide, headboard height is 36ö, and platform is only 20ö high for ease and safety. Interior mattress frame dimensions are 76.5ö long x 39ö wide x 5ö deep
- The birch wood contained in this product is harvested from sustainable managed forests. The trees from which the wood is cut are grown in different soils, with different light, under different conditions. Please note that for the clear birch finish, the birch wood may vary in color and texture from one part to the next due to the natural differences found in the wood.
