Although the recommended age for the high chair (without the tray) is 14 months, the addition of the tray let's you begin using the high chair when your baby is ready to begin eating solids at 6 months. A passive restraint underneath works in conjunction with the high chair's 3-point safety strap to prevent your baby from slipping. The space between the tray and backrest is adjustable to three different settings. Please note: When using the tray, the seat and footrest are not adjustable.
