Designed by artisans Jenny Argie and Andrew Thornton, the Argington Uffizi Bunk Bed is a work of art. Architectural elements such as the cantilevers, window-like openings, and a semi-enclosed lower bunk provide interesting angles and spaces in which to sleep, play, and daydream. What we love most about this bunk bed is that you can choose different finishes for different parts of the bed to suit your space. Offering the utmost in versatility, the bunk bed can convert to a loft bed with a youth desk (sold separately) underneath. You can also add the Argington Fuji Toybox (sold separately) to the foot of the bed for added storage. Solidly constructed of sustainable hardwood and birch ply using 100% nontoxic materials, glues, stains and finishes.
- Lower bunk is low to the ground for easier access for youngsters (Guard Rails are available and sold separately), Both upper and lower bunks accept a standard Twin size mattress (38öx75ö). Mattress thickness for upper bunk should not exceed 8ö.
- Bunk Bed can convert to a loft Bed with youth desk underneath, and the lower bunk can also be repositioned. The desk attached can be used with any configuration
- Exceeds all CPSC and ASTM safety standards
- The CPSC recommends that the upper bunk should be used by children ages 6 and up.
- Finishes available for vertical Bed supports and ladder are white and walnut, finishes available for mattress frames are natural birch, white, orange, and walnut, and finishes for Guard Rails are natural birch, white, and walnut.
