Gissy Bella began when a wildlife biologist who became a stay-at-home mom decided to sew foam-padded pants to protect the knees and shins of her newly-crawling son. When friends and family began asking her to make more for them, Comfy Crawlers were born. Gissy Bella was the boutique she created to sell them, and soon she began making a much larger catalog of baby shoes and booties, infant apparel and accessories, slings and carriers, infant and car seat covers, and all manner of sewn fabric products.
